Meet Summer Blamire. Some good friends welcomed this little one into the world in mid-December. This was another first for me, and boy did I gain some respect for those photographers specialising newborn photography – it’s not as easy as it looks – but the effort definitely pays off. Chris and Aimee – all the best for a happy, healthy year with your now expanded family.
So I know these posts can be a bit tacky – let’s hope I avoid that with this one. 2011 really has been pretty damn good to me. Going back 18 months from today I was working on a Bungee jumping bridge just south of Whistler in British Columbia, Canada. I’d never shot a wedding before, let alone assisted on one. And so the journey began. I’ve had plenty of people put a lot of faith and trust in me and have received some phenomenal support and advice from some of the best photographers in the industry. Anyway – enough of me jibbering. Happy New Year to everyone – thanks to those who have helped me in the last twelve months. Here’s a few of my favourites from the last year. It’s a bit of a mixed bag, a few I’ve shown before, some I haven’t. Some from jobs, some from floods, some personal stuff. I’ll finish with a sneak peak of some new life I captured this week, I’ll show some more in the New Year. Enjoy!
